About the Nai Raahein Nai Manzilein scheme
Through the implementation of the Nai Raahein Nai Manzilein scheme, the state government of Himachal Pradesh will identify unexplored and untapped tourist destinations in the state. This scheme will eventually promote tourism in these tourist places located across the countryside, especially the rural areas of the state. In order to seamlessly implement the said scheme, the state government has earmarked a budget of ₹50 crores. There have been proposals passed for ropeway / ski-lift, restaurants, camping site and wayside amenities were proposed under the project.
The installation of these tourist-friendly projects will attract tourists from all over the nation and also help in developing the state of Himachal Pradesh. It will generate employment opportunities by promoting professions like folk artists, local cuisines, tour guides, adventure guides and eco-guides among other professions
Objectives of the scheme
The primary objective of this scheme is to diversify tourism in the state of Himachal Pradesh especially in the rural areas as well as help in the development of infrastructure at new places and promote rural tourism. It will also generate employment and livelihood opportunities and hence promote new places.
Implementation of the scheme in Circuits
For better efficiency, the scheme would be implemented in 9 circuits. The names of the
circuits are given herewith:
- Jogindernagar-Barot-Kothi Kohar-Rajgungja-Bir-Billing
- Sundernagar-Chail Chowk-Kamru Nag-Shikari Devi-Janjheli
- Shimla-Khara Pathar-Rohru-Sandasu-Larot-Chanshal-Dodra Kwar
- Dhauladhar Circuit
- Buddhist circuit
- Bhakra-Bilaspur-Sundernagar-Jogindernagar-Pong Dam
- Solan-Habban-Rajgarh-Shillai
- Manali-Rohtan-Tandi-Udaipur-Killar
- Narkanda-Baghi-Khadrala-Chini-Pangi circuit
An integrated committee of Tourism, PWD, Forest, language, Art and Culture officers will
visit these selected circuits.

नई राहें नई मंजिलें योजना के कार्यान्वयन के माध्यम से, हिमाचल प्रदेश की राज्य सरकार राज्य में बेरोज़गार और अप्रयुक्त पर्यटन स्थलों की पहचान करेगी। यह योजना अंततः देश भर में स्थित इन पर्यटन स्थलों, विशेषकर राज्य के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देगी। उक्त योजना को निर्बाध रूप से लागू करने के लिए, राज्य सरकार ने 50 करोड़ रुपये का बजट निर्धारित किया है। परियोजना के तहत रोपवे/स्की-लिफ्ट, रेस्तरां, कैंपिंग साइट और वेसाइड सुविधाओं के लिए प्रस्ताव पारित किए गए हैं।
सर्किट में योजना का कार्यान्वयन
बेहतर दक्षता के लिए योजना को 9 सर्किटों में लागू किया जाएगा। के नाम सर्किट इसके साथ दिए गए हैं:

- सोलन-हब्बन-राजगढ़-शिलाई
- मनाली-रोहतान-टांडी-उदयपुर-किल्लारो
- नारकंडा-बाघी-खदरला-चीनी-पांगी सर्किट
- पर्यटन, लोक निर्माण विभाग, वन, भाषा, कला एवं संस्कृति अधिकारियों की एकीकृत समिति
- इन चयनित सर्किटों का दौरा करें।
