About the Bal Sangopan Yojana
For the welfare of children in the state of Maharashtra, the state government launched the scheme Bal Sangopan Yojana. The main objective of the scheme is to assist students with single parents. Single parents often find themselves working too hard to just keep food on the table for the family. Scheme objective

Also a monthly grant of Rs. 75 per child is given to the implementing charitable institutions for visiting the family and other administrative work.

In order to avail of the benefits of the scheme, the following criteria need to be met:
● The children under the age group from 0 to 18 years are considered eligible
for this scheme
● All the homeless, orphans and vulnerable children are eligible for the Bal Sangopan scheme
● The children whose parents cannot take care of them due to illnesses, death in the family, separation are also considered suitable for the Maharashtra Bal Sangopan Yojana.
