The scheme’s goal

The primary goal of the UP Pension Scheme is to give pensions to all Uttar Pradesh residents. Needy old, crippled, and widow women in Uttar Pradesh can benefit from this scheme. As a result, their financial situation will improve and they will no longer be reliant on others. The incentive money will be delivered directly to people’s bank accounts under the UP Pension Scheme, thereby preventing corruption. Eligibility Criteria

  • A resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh may apply.
  • An applicant who comes from a low-income family.
  • The applicant must also have a BPL certificate.
  • The applicant should come from a less affluent part of society.
  • In addition, the applicant may come from a low-income family.

  • Applicant’s Aadhaar Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Identity Certificate
  • Passport Size Photographs of the applicant
  • Income Certificate
  • Bank Passbook
  • Savings Accounts available at any Nationalized Bank.

How to Apply for the UP Old Age Pension Scheme?

You can apply for the UP Old Age Pension Scheme in the following ways:

  • Visit the UP Government’s Official Website for the Integrated Pension Portal.
  • From the home page, select the link, “Vridhavasta Pension”
  • Now, select or click on the Apply Now button.
  • You will be directed to a web page where you can complete the application form. Fill out the form with all of the essential information and upload all of the required documents.
  • After completing the form and uploading the needed papers, click the Submit button.
  • After you submit the application, take a printout of it since you will need to physically submit it to the DSWO / DPO / DHWO office within 1 month of the date of Final Submission.

Check the Status of UP Old Age Pension Payments

Here’s how to verify the status of your UP Old Age Pension Payment:

  • Visit the UP Government’s Official Website for the Integrated Pension Portal.
  • From the home page, select the link.
  • Now, select (2021-22) from the drop-down menu.
  • The UP Old Age Pension District Wise Pension List will be displayed. You must then select your District, Block, Panchayat, and Village.
  • After you’ve chosen your village, you’ll see the total number of pensioners next to the village, click on it.
  • A list of retirees in the chosen village will be provided. The Beneficiary registration number, name, father name, gender, age, category, amount, bank name, and payment status can all be found here.
