The State Government has launched the “Mukhyamantri Shehri Nikay Swamitva Yojana” and online registration for this scheme will begin on July 1, 2021. Interested applicants who will have completed 20 years as a tenant by December 31, 2021, can apply for this scheme.
They will soon be able to purchase the shops for which they have been paying rent. The government has also developed a portal for this purpose. Where qualifying shopkeepers can obtain their ID. Only then would the registry of government shops be in those shopkeepers’ names.
The applicants who wish to apply online must first obtain the official notification and thoroughly understand all eligibility criteria and the application process.
Objective
The Haryana government launched this scheme with the goal of granting ownership rights to persons who have worked in urban bodies’ shops and dwellings for more than 20 years.
Benefits of the Scheme
- The government could make the online process more user-friendly for merchants.
- According to the government’s proposal, all shops or residences of urban bodies whose possession would be completed 20 years on December 31, 2021, will receive ownership rights on such property under this scheme.
- Those citizens who do not take advantage of this arrangement will be required to pay market rent.
- This initiative is also expected to generate Rs 1000 crore in revenue for the Haryana government.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a Haryana permanent resident.
- The nominee must have owned a shop and a dwelling for at least 20 years as of December 31, 2021.
- To take advantage of this scheme, the applicant must apply through the site.
Important Documents Required
When applying on this portal, the shopkeeper will receive the self-certified letter, self-certified site plan and building plan, proof of property possession, electricity and water connection bill, tenancy agreement or rent receipt, return, fire NOC, and other documents that are required.
Application Process
Step 1: Go to the Mukhyamantri Shehri Nikay Swamitva Yojana’s official website, ulbshops.ulbharyana.gov.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, click the “Register Here” link.
Step 3: The screen will display the application Form page.
Step 4: Fill in the blanks with the necessary information (Mention all the details such as fill name, email id and mobile number).
Step 5: Now select Generate OTP from the drop-down menu.
Step 6: After that, enter the OTP received on your mobile device into the OTP box and select the submit option.
Step 7: Return to the main page and log in to the citizen.
Step 8: After that, enter your cellphone number and select the Send OTP option.
Step 9: After that, enter the OTP in the OTP box and select the login option.
Step 10: After that, you must select the Apply Now option.
Step 11: The application form will now appear on the screen.
Step 12: Fill out all of the required information in this application form and submit all required papers.
Step 13: Finally, click the submit button.
You would then be able to apply for the Mukhyamantri Shehri Nikay Swamitva Yojana 2022.
