The Delhi Development Authority introduced a special housing programme on December 23, 2021, with 18,335 units available for sale at reduced costs in Jasola, Dwarka, Rohini, and Narela. These DDA flats, which were largely ancient Delhi flats that had not been sold in previous schemes, fell into several categories, including Higher Income Group (HIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), Lower Income Group (LIG), and Janta flats. According to organisers, the lottery would most likely be held in February 2022, and applicants can apply until February 7, 2022.
The application deadline was March 10, 2022. Previously, the deadline for submitting applications was February 7, 2022. Given the current third wave of the COVID-19 epidemic, the authorities extended the deadline due to public demand. So far, over 16,000 applications have been received under the initiative. They can register on the DDA’s official website and view the information online.
